Biography
Professor Ku has authored and coauthored over 750 technical papers (including more than 155 papers presented in referred journals) in the areas of water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, energy and environmental management systems. Among his many honors are: Fellow, Chinese Institute of Environmental Engineering(2012); Hou Jing-Dwei Outstanding Research Award (2009), Outstanding Engineering Professor Award (2009), Chinese Institute of Engineering; Outstanding Achievement Award in Standardization (2008), Ministry of Economic Affairs, Outstanding Research Award (1993, 1994), National Science Council; and Best Research Publication Award (1993, 2004), Chinese Institute of Environmental Engineering.
